QUIET!

Quiet! (1984) is Sheila's second solo album after leaving Monsoon. It marks Sheila's writing debut - she co-wrote 5 of the 10 tracks.

It was a groundbreaking album in many respects. Each track features Sheila's beguiling wordless interweaving vocals over a mesmerizing stream of cyclic riffs and ambient soundscapes. The instrumentation includes sitars, santoor, dilruba, keyboards, water woks, gamelan and various acoustic drones (including Sheila's over- dubbed held voices.)
